SAAone is a construction consortium of the construction companies Boskalis, Hochtief, VolkerWessels, and the investor DIF. Firstly, the construction consortium had to demonstrate within a few months before the start of the work that the required system, including the associated IBM Maximo PMS work processes, functioned in accordance with the requirements. <\/p>\n<p>IBM Business Partner Gemba provided IBM Maximo with a PMS: an add-on to the standard IBM Maximo environment. In addition to the verification of completed work, this add-on offers customized incident registration, tailored to the requirements of the contract. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"color: #6ed400;\">&#8220;A closed lane can cost tens of thousands of euros per quarter of an hour in the unfavorable case&#8221;<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #6ed400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Moreover, PMS integrates the Vehicle Loss Hours (VVU) model associated with the contract. This model calculates the time that a lane is closed, how many vehicles theoretically experience delays according to the model, and what financial consequences are associated with this specific part of the highway section. Peter Groen (project leader) explains: \u201cIf there is, for example, a hole in the road, the control room enters the report into the system. At that moment, the clock starts running and our people immediately get to work. When the repair is complete, we register that again in the system. PMS calculates the turnaround time, the costs associated with it, and any associated financial consequences, and includes this in the reports.\u201d With this add-on from Gemba, the control room can link incidents to theoretical contract conditions and components faster and more easily, after which monitoring of the contract components can take place.  <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/gemba.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/case2.png&#8221;
