Maintenance data is collected in the system and analyzed using AI. What is the condition of the asset? And what activities are necessary? IBM MAS also manages these activities, from maintenance inspection to preventive maintenance, repair or replacement. A link with Viewport ensures that all necessary technical documentation can be found centrally and quickly. This includes an overview of the asset structure, the P&amp;ID (process and instrumentation diagram) or digital manuals. A smart drone with a camera that is controlled from the ground by a drone pilot takes pictures of the asset. The images taken by the drone are analyzed based on an algorithm for corrosion detection. Smart AIS partner Airvision developed this on behalf of Smart AIS. The self-learning algorithm is able to independently recognize corrosion from images. The maintenance experts at Smart AIS then assess the images on which corrosion has been discovered, not the many hundreds of images taken. This allows them to assign the severity and provide maintenance advice much more quickly and on a well-founded basis.
