Because IBM MAS works on the Red Hat OpenShift container platform and that places considerably higher hardware requirements: you need a multiple of computing power, memory and storage capacity. They also offer opportunities in the field of management. As soon as your IBM MAS environment is in the cloud, you will be relieved of this. Direct access to the database is no longer necessary, because all your asset management data is directly accessible via IBM MAS, in an easy, secure and controlled manner. So no one needs to go &#8216;under the hood&#8217; to get to your data anymore. This saves you license costs and work, from database management to patching middleware.
