How Schiphol uses IBM Maximo

Within the various business units, including Terminal, Airfield Services, Parking Management Services and Security, IBM Maximo is used for the management and maintenance of all assets for which it is responsible.

The effective implementation is performed by 17 main contractors. Controlling and addressing the performance of the main contracts is undertaken by the IBM Maximon implementation.

Work preparation/planning:

All activities are centrally controlled by the work preparation/planning department of each business unit. Several engineers, together with a planner, ensure that the work—which includes malfunctions, preventative maintenance and small projects—is coordinated to all main contractors. This is to monitor the job preparation and logoff within the system, using, among other things, Maximo Mobile.
